What is Project Prom...

To help encourage and motivate volunteers, parents, and students to contribute to Project Prom’s efforts, a point system is used. This system is designed to reward voluntary contributions. Contributions come in the form of financial support, donations, and the time of volunteers, parents, and students. Points earned by volunteers, parents, and students can increase (but does NOT guarantee) the students’ chance of winning door prizes at the event.

All Cy-Falls High School seniors (but not their non-Cy-Falls senior guest) receive chances to win door prizes simply by attending Project Prom. Volunteers, parents, and seniors may earn additional chances, through the point system as they contribute financially, volunteer time, or make purchases from the fundraising activities throughout the senior year.

All points will be converted to Project Prom Prize Tickets which can be used at Project Prom for chances to win door prizes. Cy-Falls seniors may use their Project Prom Prize Tickets for chances to win up to two (2) small door prizes and one (1) large door prize. Small door prizes are any prize under $150 in value. Large door prozes are any prize over $150 dollars in value, and TVs.

CY-FALLS SENIORS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ALL PRIZES

POINTS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE

The points system will remain fixed throughout the school year with point awards                     accurately given, tracked and reported.

Project Prom is a private, non-profit event run by parent volunteers with the primary goal of hosting an alcohol and drug-free after-Prom activity. Project Prom is solely funded via fundraising and donations; and, is not financially supported by Cy-Falls High School or the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District in any way. Project Prom is open to all Cy-Falls High School seniors (in good standing) and their prom guest.

The cost of Project Prom includes renting a venue, providing food and soft drinks for all attendees, and the purchase of door prizes. Door prizes are a huge draw that promotes a fun night and makes attending Project Prom THE number one after-Prom activity. Door prizes have been exceptional in the past and are the highlight of the event. Examples of past door prizes have been computers, iPads, iPods, dorm room refrigerators, flat screen televisions, and other items highly sought by high school seniors.

Project Prom is sponsored by Cypress Falls Project Prom, Inc. which is a corporation organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
